The Small Festival in the Large Garden 2026 will start under the new artistic direction of DESiMO.
Over the years, the "Small Festival in the Large Garden" has developed into the most successful cabaret festival in Germany. In the Herrenhausen Gardens, the historic baroque garden is transformed into a lively backdrop for a variety of artistic performances on several evenings in July. Guests stroll from scene to scene, discovering something new time and again and experiencing summer evenings full of surprises, humour and poetic moments.
