The "KaffeeKenner" group programme at the Hannoversche Kaffeemanufaktur offers an informative tour through the world of coffee. Participants gain an insight into the art of coffee roasting and learn interesting facts about the origin and processing of coffee beans.
Included services:
Guided tour of the coffee manufactory: A master roaster explains the various harvesting methods, processing techniques in the country of origin and the differences between Arabica and Robusta beans.
Show roasting: Demonstration of the roasting process on a small hand roaster over an open flame.
Tasting: Participants taste different types of coffee and receive tips on the ideal storage and preparation of roasted coffee.
Culinary finale: A slice of freshly baked sheet cake rounds off the experience.
