Cycling through Hanover - city history meets nature enjoyment

Hanover is one of the greenest cities in Germany - and that's exactly what makes it the perfect destination for an active break by bike. Experience the ideal combination of urban flair and idyllic nature over three days.

You will be staying in a central hotel in the city centre. From there, you can set off directly on well-known cycle paths.

Start your tour through the city with the extensive Eilenriede city forest, take a boat trip on the Maschsee lake and explore the magnificent Herrenhausen Gardens. You cycle through the "city in the countryside" far away from the traffic.

On the second day, head out into the region: with a well-filled packed lunch in your luggage, follow the Leine and Ihme through the Calenberger Land or as far as the Deister - just as the mood takes you. 19 inspiring routes from a cycle tour book help you choose and make planning easy.

At the end of your adventure day, enjoy a relaxed dinner in a restaurant in the city centre - the perfect way to round off the day with good food and a pleasant atmosphere.
