The Hanover city walk offers an informative way to explore the historic old town and the modern city centre. The tour leads through important places in the city that reflect the different eras of the city's history.

Tour programme and stops

The tour starts at the Tourist Information Centre at Ernst-August-Platz 8 and lasts around 2 hours. Numerous sights are visited during the tour, including the Leineschloss, the Opera House, the New Town Hall, the Aegidienkirche, the Old Town Hall and the Marktkirche. The tour also takes you through the picturesque streets of the Old Town with its impressive half-timbered houses.
