The Herrenhausen Gardens in Hanover offer one of the most important baroque gardens in Europe, the Great Garden. Children and school classes have the opportunity to get to know this historic site on a specially designed guided tour.
Contents of the tour
During the 1.5-hour tour, the young participants learn factual information about the design of a baroque garden, the history of the electoral family and their summer residence in Herrenhausen. Questions such as "What did 'pleasure walking' mean at court?" or "Why did the King of England come from Hanover?" are addressed.
