The approximately 3.5 to 4-hour cycle tour starts at the tourist information centre on Ernst-August-Platz. From there, the route leads to various stations, including the garden cemetery, the city park with its diverse garden styles and the Herrenhausen Gardens, which will celebrate their 350th anniversary in 2025. The tour offers an insight into the development of garden design in Hanover and shows the importance of the green oases for the cityscape.
