A day trip to the Steinhuder Meer offers you the opportunity to escape from everyday life and enjoy the maritime atmosphere of north-west Germany. A trip on the vintage bus from BussaNova is particularly appealing, taking you to the idyllic fishing village of Steinhude in style and comfort.<\/p>

Travelling by vintage bus<\/h2>

The tour starts at the New Town Hall in Hanover, from where the restored Setra S-100 vintage bus will chauffeur you to Steinhude. During the journey, an experienced tour guide will tell you interesting stories about the region, so that even the journey there is informative and entertaining.<\/p>

Walk through Steinhude<\/h2>

Once you arrive in Steinhude, a guided walk through the historic town centre begins. Among other things, you will visit a traditional eel smokehouse and learn more about the local fishing culture.<\/p>

Lunch and boat trip to Wilhelmstein Island<\/h2>

After the walk, lunch awaits you in a selected restaurant. You will then take a boat trip on the historic sailing boats, the so-called \"emigrants\", to the island fortress of Wilhelmstein.
